Inwood Citalopram HBr is the authorized generic of the Forest
Pharmaceuticals brand Celexa. It is approved for sale by the FDA under
the same New Drug Application (NDA) as Celexa. Celexa is listed in the
Orange Book, however, Inwood Citalopram HBr is not listed. Inwood Citalopram
HBr is the only generic citalopram covered under the Celexa NDA.
As the authorized generic to Celexa, Inwood Citalopram HBr has
the same size, shape, color, and dosage strengths as Celexa tablets.
Inwood Citalopram HBr is manufactured using the same active and inactive
ingredients, with the same manufacturing equipment, at the same manufacturing
facilities, and under the same controls as Celexa.
